Clay Dalton (simply knpwn as "Clay") is a non-binary contestant in the Excellent Entities series. Clay made their competitive debut in Extraordinarily Excellent Entities, competing on Team Time Traveling Baby Orphans. They were the eleventh contestant eliminated, leaving the show in "Painting the Town Red" and placing 5th overall. In THREEEE, Clay was placed on Team A, and is currently still competing.
Personality[]
Clay was shown to be fairly competent, and reasonable and logical. They were also seen to be sly, cunning, and cynical at times. Out of their fellow TTBOs, they were the smartest, and was always trying to figure things out easily. They're a sly, cynical, and cunning character. They are smart and easily figures things out, but doesn't talk much.

- Malleability/Shape Shifting: Given his soft structure, Clay can shape shift into different things like a boat. He also can generate hands & arms to help himself. They can even change color, as seen when he was pretending to be Nail in Chao Down.

EEE 1[]
In "Return from the Calmart Dollar Bin", Clay only shows up twice in the episode with a total of two lines, first he kills Feather and Diary with Grahamlins and then he gets kicked by Poison like a soccer ball and into a Grahamlins mouth. They are then seen being recovered and is placed on Poison's team.
EEE 2[]
In "(None of Us Went To) Elementary My Dear Watson", Clay first appears at the smoothie shack, questioning Chocolate Bar for planning the challenge in time during the murderer's appearance. However, when the challenge begins, he just takes a selfie while hiding in a tree. Clay is the last person alive on his team, as they were stabbed by the killer despite transforming into him. Although their team lost, they were given immunity. After the credits, he is seen playing cards with the murderer.
EEE 3[]
In "In Space No One Can Hear You Ice Cream", Clay consoles Poison after Mango refuses her offer to hang out with her, although she claims that she doesn't know who he is and what he does, so they transform into her and does a mocking impression of her. He doesn't do much until after the elimination, in which during the challenge, He questions Poison's idea of "a new Mango". However, she soon changes her mind, further confusing Clay. The remaining Time Traveling Baby Orphans are soon found and beaten up by a Grahamlin.

- Clay is the first character on EE to have no limbs whatsoever.
- Clay received less lines that episode than Muffin did, despite being a real contestant that season.
- Clay is currently the only contestant able to shapeshift.
- Clay was the first ever non-binary object show character, being confirmed in 2015 before Paintbrush from Inanimate Insanity.[1]
- Clay used to be the only confirmed non-binary contestant on the show, until Latte was confirmed to be Agender (which is under the non-binary umbrella).
